Art Director · Fashion Designer . Makeup Artist I am Eli Monfared, a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of fashion, art, and visual storytelling. My practice spans creative direction, fashion design, haute couture, surreal fashion, makeup artistry, hair styling, and content creation. I transform ideas into distinctive visual narratives, combining conceptual thinking with hands-on execution to create work that challenges conventions and pushes creative boundaries. My journey began in Iran in 2010, where I pursued my artistic vision independently, navigating an environment shaped by censorship and restrictions on creative expression. Working underground became an essential part of my journey, strengthening my commitment to artistic freedom and self-expression. In 2014, I initiated Origami, a project developed in collaboration with Iranian photographer Saeed Farmarzi. The project marked a defining moment in my creative journey, bringing together fashion, form, and visual experimentation in a challenging cultural landscape. After continuing my work in Iran until 2020, I moved to the Netherlands, where I continue to explore new creative possibilities while remaining connected to the experiences and influences that shaped my artistic identity. My work is driven by intuition, bold concepts, and a fascination with the unconventional. Whether developing a visual concept, directing a campaign, creating a fashion image, or working in front of the camera, I approach every project as an opportunity to challenge expectations and create something distinctive. For me, fashion is more than clothing, and art is more than aesthetics. They are forms of expression, resistance, and transformation. I create beyond convention, where imagination becomes art
